Product Description:
Light:
The plant grows well in partial to direct sunlight. Choose a spot that gets 3-4 hours of direct sun every day.
Soil:
A Well-draining, porous, and fertile potting soil with some amount of peat will work wonders.
Water:
Regularly in summer reduce in winter and rainy season.
Fertilizer:
A sansevieria whitney, applying fertilizer every few months can make your plant more vigorous and healthy.
Temperature and Humidity:
 Temperature between 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit. You don’t want to place it near a window that receives direct sunlight, but it does well near a south-facing window. Sansevieria whitney, love high humidity. If you’re unable to increase your home’s humidity naturally with a humidifier.
Pruning:
Sansevieria Whitney plants don’t need frequent cutting. However, you can remove the damaged leaves.
Propagating Snake Plant:
- Take a sterilized pair of gardening shears. Cut a leaf of about 10 inches.
- Simply, plant each cutting about an inch deep in a moist quick-draining growing mix. Make sure you keep the lower side of the leaf-cutting in the lower direction under the potting mixture.
- Â keep the soil moist by spraying water once it gets about 90% dry.
- These cuttings will take about 4 to 6 weeks to root.
- You can replant them along with the soil/potting mix to your desired pot.
