A hybrid cross between Graptopetalum paraguayense and Sedum adolphi, the plant is classified as a Graptosedum. Graptosedums are sprawling plants. Because of this, they’re great as groundcovers or in hanging baskets. You’ll see the most growth during spring and fall. In the spring, you may be rewarded with white flowers. you’ll get the best results growing outside. Zones 9-11 can sustain Graptosedum yearlong.
Light:
Like Echeveria and Sedum, Graptosedum need full lightto thrive. The plant should receive at least 6 to 7 hours of sunlight every day. South-facing windows are best for Graptosedum.
Water:
Graptosedum have similar Watering needs as other succulents. Their thick leaves allow them to store plenty of water during times of drought.
Soil:
For proper Graptosedum care, plant in a well-draining and porous soil to prevent rot.
Fertilizer:
You can apply fertilizer once a month during their growing season, however Graptosedum are fine with minimal fertilization.
Temperature:
Graptosedum thrive in hot, dry climates. Their optimal temperature is from65 °F to 75 °F (18 °C to 24 °C). They cannot tolerate cold weather and should not be left out in temperatures lower than 30 °F (-1 °C).
Propagate Graptosedum:
- You will have to gently twist the leaf from the stem of this aloe when you are taking it for propagation.
- The leaf should be a clean pull with no part on the stem.
- This will allow you to have a successful propagation.
- Before placing it on well-draining soil, let the leaf to callous over a day.
