PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Aglaonema Pink Anyamanee is a rarity – a striking foliage plant that can cope with low light conditions. Aglaonemas are evergreen perennial herbs with stems growing erect. Plants of the genus are native to humid, shady tropical forest habitat. Aglaonema have been grown as luck-bringing ornamental plants in Asia for centuries. They have been cultivated, hybridized, and bred into a wide array of cultivars. They live in low-light conditions and are popular houseplants Excellent for low-light areas, they are excellent indoor plants. Use them as tabletop varieties or make them a part of a plant cluster to offset the green foliage of other plants.
Light:
The darker green varieties can grow in near shade, while the variegated varieties require brighter light. Do not expose to direct sun.
Water:
Water thoroughly in the summer, and mist often to raise humidity. During the winter, reduce watering but do not let the plant dry completely.
Temperature:
They do not like cold drafts or temperatures below 65ºF. The warmer, the better.
Soil:
A well-drained potting soil is perfect.
Fertilizer:
Slow-release pellets or liquid fertilizer during the growing season.
Propagation via stem cuttings–
Stem cutting is the most preferred method of propagation, cut the new shoots with minimum five leaves or old plant stem with a sanitized cutter and plant it into the soil or coco-peat mix. Place it in indirect sunlight, if the temperature is above 20-degree Celsius, new shoots will emerge from cuttings in 25-45 days.
Repotting:
They are slow growing and will only need repotting every other year. Aglaonema are generally low-growing plants that will only very gradually reveal their trunks.
